How to Order

Helo baths are extraordinary pieces of wood engineering. Perfect for a long soak that warms the body and relaxes tired muscles and nerves. Teak is warm to the touch and an excellent insulator, thus helping to keep the water hot.

This bathtub comes with a 1 1/2" pressflow drain. Faucets are typically wall or floor mounted. See additional photo #3 for specs.
Baths are made to individual order, and can be made precisely to your specification. Call for more details.

Why Teak? Teak is perfect for the precision work of making baths and sinks because of its unique combination of great durability and stability. In wet environment where the timber must behave predictably, teak is the king.
Teak grows in the mixed deciduous forests of South Asia and is not a tropical rain forest tree. It is also found in plantations across the world. All William Garvey sinks and baths use teak from Myanmar that is harvested in an environmentally sustainable way. Our teak sinks and baths are treated with Timbertect Plus. This is an epoxy resin sealant which sinks into the wood and fuses with it, forming an exceptionally tough layer that will not absorb stains. These sinks are easy to clean with standard non-abrasive bathroom and kitchen cleaners. Products containing bleach should be avoided as they may lighten the wood unevenly.
