Uptown Mirror (Shown in Swiss Pear Wood) is an elegant hand carved one-of-a kind piece. The unique design relied on simplicity of form carved with traditional tools. The artist refined the lines using a scraper followed by hand sanding to eliminate minor imperfections. The finish consists of seven coats of hand rubbed finish.

Swiss Pear is considered a "hot wood" in the high-end furniture markets and is quite expensive. The luscious grain and color of the wood does not need additional embellishment to look stunning. The artist used a clear natural finish to enhance the natural beauty of the wood.
