How to Order

Rick Schneider carved Mahogany prototype forms that were used to make molds. These molds were used to make multiple plaster castings of the carvings. These plaster castings were laid like tiles to build the repeating patterns of the ceiling medallions. The finished medallions are 45" in diameter and stand 8" down from the ceiling at their centers. There are five of these ceiling medallions on the Governor’s Chambers ceiling in the Vermont State House.
