The vibrant table top features an eight-piece book matched Walnut Burl veneer edged with solid Bird’s-eye Maple enriched with a Costello inlay. The bottom side of the top is veneered with the same density veneer to prevent warping and / or cupping.

The magnificent hexagon pedestal is striking. Each section of figured Walnut veneer is separated by solid Bird’s-eye Maple adorned with a dyed Costello inlay. The veneers are cross-banded to create a two-ply skin, which strengthens the face veneer before application to the core.

This table is finished with an eco-friendly finish that repels water, is non-toxic and environmentally safe.

The second photo shows the center of the Walnut Burl veneer on the top of the table. The next picture is a close-up of the figured Walnut veneer, separated by solid Bird’s-eye Maple with a dyed Costello inlay.

The fourth image is a close-up of the figured Walnut veneer taken straight on to emphasize the feathered affect of the veneer and again, to show the separation by solid Bird’s-eye Maple with a dyed Costello inlay. The last picture is a close-up of the solid Bird’s-eye Maple edge, the Costello inlay and the figure in the Walnut Burl veneer top, which show the tightness & perfection in workmanship.
