How to Order
This beautiful teak sink is constructed from solid, sustainably harvested Teak and is available in two depths. The standard size is 7 3/4" high overall, while the "Belfast" model measures 10" high (£965). The internal corners of the sinks are rounded to a radius of 3/4" to facilitate cleaning.
Each sink comes with steel brackets for attaching to the underside of a countertop. The sink can also wall mounted, on a countertop, or in a cabinet with the front exposed in the farmhouse; style. Comes with a pre-installed brushed stainless steel basket strainer drain. An overflow feature can be ordered at an additional cost of £95. See additional photo #2 for specs.
Why Teak? Teak is perfect for the precision work of making baths and sinks because of its unique combination of great durability and stability. In wet environments where the timber must behave predictably, teak is the king.
Teak grows in the mixed deciduous forests of South Asia and is not a tropical rain forest tree. It is also found in plantations across the world. All our finely crafted teak sinks and baths use teak from Myanmar that is harvested in an environmentally sustainable way.
Our teak sinks and baths are treated with Timbertect Plus, an epoxy resin sealant which sinks into the wood and fuses with it, forming an exceptionally tough layer that will not absorb stains. These sinks are easy to clean with standard non-abrasive bathroom and kitchen cleaners. Products containing bleach should be avoided as they may lighten the wood unevenly.
