How to Order

These chairs have a plush, whimsical feel. They are a sculptural art object as much as a piece of furniture.

The seat and front legs are mortised and tenoned, while the back legs are held with a large dovetail and pinned with substantial dowels.

Made with plain or figured maple, which allows a wide range of colors for the velvet of the upholstery. The colored accents are painted with acrylics, mixed to match the upholstery color.

A non-yellowing CAB (acrylic) lacquer is used on the finish. The lacquer is sanded, rubbed, and waxed to a silky smoothness.
