How to Order

This simple table was built to highlight some beautiful, wide cherry. The grain flows across the miter on the table’s left side, uniting the side with the top. Only the wavy drawer front subtly introduces some curves.

The case is assembled with a series of hidden splines. The back of the table is a mortised and tenoned frame and panel. The drawer is hand dovetailed.

This cherry is wide enough that all table components are made from a single piece of cherry, and all the cherry was sawn consecutively from the same log. Padauk is used as an accent.

The satin-sheen finish is hand sanded and waxed.
